Tyler Myatt named TCCAA Baseball Player of the Week

MORRISTOWN, TN – Tyler Myatt was named the TCCAA Baseball Player of the Week on Tuesday after yet another impressive week.

Playing four games, Myatt hit .800 and homered twice while also driving in 13 runs. Myatt scored nine runs and had 12 hits. 

Myatt's biggest game of the week came in the finale against Jackson State, going 4-5 with two home runs and seven RBIs in a 22-0 win. Myatt also went 3-3 with three RBIs against Pellissippi State. 

Myatt helped lead the Senators to a 4-0 week where they outscored their opponents, 78-14. 

For the season, Myatt is hitting .500 with 20 home runs and 70 RBIs. Myatt is first in the country in batting average and home runs and third in RBIs. 

Myatt and the Senators are back in action on Tuesday, traveling to take on Southwest Virginia. First pitch is set for 12 pm ET.
