Carter Webb named TCCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
MORRISTOWN, TN – Carter Webb has scored double-digits in seven straight games, and after two especially impressive scoring games, was named the TCCAA Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Last week, Webb averaged 18 points per game and was 8/11 from 3-point range.
Against Chattanooga State, Webb scored 21 points, going 7-9 from the field and was 5-6 from 3-point range. Then, on Saturday against Dyersburg, Webb shot 6-8 from the field and 3-5 from 3-point range to finish with 15 points.
For the season, Webb is shooting 54% from the field and 50% from 3-point range. Webb is averaging 12.6 points per game and is 30-32 from the free throw line. Webb has made 67 3-pointers in 24 games.
Webb and the Senators are back in action on the road Wednesday, at Pellissippi State. Tip is set for 7:30 pm ET.
