Senators finish 11th at NJCAA DII Fall Championship Preview
PLYMOUTH, IN – Walters State closed out their time in the NJCAA DII Fall Championship Preview at Swan Lake Golf Resort on Wednesday, finishing in 11th place.
As a team, the Senators shot 42-over. In their final round on Wednesday, Walters State shot 19-over.
Leading the way for Walters State was Brant Kardatzke in 22nd place at 3-over. Kardatzke shot 3-over on Wednesday with a birdie on the par-3 13th.
Next for the Senators was Ayden Smith in 32nd place at 5-over. Smith shot 7-over in his final round with birdies on holes seven and 15.
Maddox Butler was the third finisher for Walters State, in 65th place at 18-over. Butler shot 4-over in round three with birdies on the fifth and 15th holes.
Rounding out the team were Blake Dawson in 72nd at 21-over and Alex Gaetz in 78th place at 23-over. Dawson shot 6-over on Wednesday and birdied the fifth, 13th and 15th holes while Gaetz shot 6-over with birdies on the third, 10th and 15th holes.
Playing as an individual, Bryce Guinn finished in 69th place at 20-over. Guinn shot 9-over in the final round.
