Walters State finish 10th at Bob Dibble Memorial
CHUCKEY, TN – Walters State closed out its time in the Bob Dibble Memorial on Tuesday at Graysburg Hills Golf Course, finishing in a tie for 10th place.
As a team, the Senators shot 41-over for the tournament after shooting 24-over on Tuesday.
Maddox Butler was Walters State's top finisher, coming in 21st at 6-over. On Tuesday, Butler shot 5-over and birdied the sixth and 14th holes.
Brant Kardatzke was the second finisher for the Senators, and he finished in 25th place at 6-over. Kardatzke shot 8-over in his final round.
Third for Walters State, Greyson Smith finished in a tie for 56th at 14-over. Smith shot 3-over on Tuesday, with a birdie on the sixth hole and an eagle on the 578-yard par-5 16th hole.
Rounding out the team were Alex Gaetz in 61st at 15-over and Ayden Smith in 84th at 27-over. Gaetz shot 6-over on Tuesday and birdied the sixth, 10th and 18th holes. Meanwhile, Ayden Smith shot 12-over in his final round.
Playing as an individual, Blake Dawson came in a tie for 56th place at 14-over. Dawson shot 10-over in his final round, birdieing the first, sixth, 10th and 15th holes.
