Griffin named TCCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for second straight week 

MORRISTOWN, TN – For the second straight week, Terryauna Griffin has been selected the TCCAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

On Tuesday, Griffin was named Co-TCCAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week along with Southwest Tennessee's Jaliyah Zackery. 

Griffin earned the honor after setting a career high in points on Saturday against Jackson State, finishing with 32 points. Griffin made 10 shots in the game and hit four 3-pointers and eight free throws. Griffin had five rebounds and two assists, as the Lady Senators took a 74-57 win.

On Wednesday, Griffin had an equally as impressive game with 24 points against Motlow State. Griffin was 9-11 from the field and had eight steals and four assists. The Lady Senators won that game, 81-33. 

Griffin and the Lady Senators are back in action on Wednesday, hosting Columbia State at 5 pm ET.
