Raegan Starks named TCCAA Women’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week
MORRISTOWN, TN – For the second straight week, Raegan Starks has been named the TCCAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Starks earned Co-Player of the Week honors this week, along with Jackson State's Hannah Johnson.
Starks helped lead Walters State to another 2-0 week and improved their record to 8-0 on the season. Against Central Georgia Tech on Friday, Starks finished with a career-high 30 points, to go along with seven rebounds, four assists and four steals in an 85-81 overtime win.
On Saturday, taking on Albany Tech, Starks had 17 more points and collected seven rebounds. For the season, Starks is averaging 15.4 points and 7.5 rebounds. Starks has scored in double figures in six of eight games this season.
Starks and the Lady Senators are back in action on Wednesday, hosting Chattanooga State at 5:30 pm.
