DAYTON, TN – No.18 Walters State closed out the regular season on Monday with a 3-0 (25-11, 25-15, 25-16) sweep over Bryan College JV.
With the sweep, the Lady Senators finished the regular season at 23-5.
Leading the way for Walters State in the match was Lauren Mims with 10 digs, nine kills and three aces. Along with Mims, Rylee Haynie and Veda Barton each had seven kills, while Barton had three blocks and Haynie two blocks.
Other contributors for the Lady Senators were Payton Brown with 12 digs and two aces, Catherine Sweeney with six kills and three blocks, Olivia Brown with 15 assists and eight digs and Annah Cate Hyatt with 10 assists and five kills.

Walters State will open up postseason play on Friday, playing in the TCCAA/Region 7 Tournament at Roane State. The Lady Senators will play the winner of Pellissippi State and Cleveland State at approximately 5 p.m.
